ITIA is very conscientious with its support of students’ study goals. Our staff and lecturers are very aware of the differences in the academic cultures amongst our students and do everything they can to help orientate them to the demands and skills of the Western study environment. For that purpose, regular study-skills seminars are held on campus on Friday afternoons.
The three main areas on which the lecturers focus are:
- Report Writing
- Paraphrasing
- Referencing
Students are strongly advised to attend these important seminars!
Also ITIA provides English Language support with those who may be struggling with different areas of the communication and is provided free to all students that are studying tertiary programmes with us.
